Minbur app guide for listeners

October 13, 2026

This guide is for worshippers and listeners who use the Minbur app or website to follow the sermon in their own language. You do not need an account to listen.

1. Find your mosque

2. Choose your language

Use the language list at the top of any page. The menus and the sermon text change at once, and your choice is remembered. If a sermon is not yet translated into your language you see the original text.

3. Follow the sermon

  1. Open the Live tab. Each line of the sermon appears as the speaker moves on.
  2. Press Listen to hear the lines read aloud in order.
  3. When the speaker allows it, a Live audio bar appears with Start, Pause and Stop listening. Earbuds work well.
  4. Tap any line to keep it in Saved.

4. Archive and Saved

Archive lists earlier sermons of your mosque so you can read them later. Saved keeps the lines you tapped. With an account, your saved lines follow you to every device.

5. Slides and the screen

Some mosques show slides or a big screen. Your phone follows the same sermon, so you can read in your own language while the screen shows the original.

6. Tools

7. Reading and hearing support

8. Donate

Press Donate to see how your mosque accepts gifts, for example bank transfer. Follow the steps shown and keep your receipt. The platform cannot reverse a bank transfer; contact your mosque's treasurer if you made a mistake.

9. Your account (optional)

  1. Open the profile icon and choose Create account.
  2. An account only keeps your bookmarks and settings across devices.
  3. Under Privacy you can Download my data or Delete my account at any time.

10. Privacy

You do not need an account to listen. Your language, mosque and view choices stay on your device, and on your account if you are signed in. Minbur is suitable for all ages; children should use it with a parent's or teacher's agreement.
