No internet at the mosque? Use mobile data

October 6, 2026

The idea

The speaker's phone or laptop needs one internet connection. Listeners each use their own mobile data. The mosque does not need Wi-Fi for the audience.

Set-up

  1. The speaker uses a phone with a mobile-data plan, or a small mobile router, and presses Go Live.
  2. Worshippers scan the QR code. Their phones connect over their own mobile data.
  3. For a TV, share the speaker's phone hotspot with a smart TV or streaming stick.

Data use

Reading the text uses very little data. Listening to live audio uses more, so choose text only if your data is limited.

If the connection drops

Listeners reconnect by themselves and catch up on recent lines. After the sermon, the text is saved in the archive and can be read again.
